Frank R. Parlato Jr. Born 1955, Buffalo NY, is a philosopher, Yogi, teacher, developer, journalist, activist, writer, musician, investor, ethnographer, publicist and scholar.
As a developer he was involved in suburban residential as well as commercial development. His brilliant design, extraordinary insight and idea of esthetics led him to build subdivisions with huge lots, where each house had a pictureque view of the preserved forests. His residential subdivisions have been classified as "development models" for green space and esthetics, as well as profit.
After successful suburban development, he turned to commercial development. He bought the 'Occidental Chemical Building', and filled the seven year old, one acre wide, 40 feet deep hole that marred the beauty of those approaching the Niagara Falls State Park, at the former site of the failed Aquafalls underground aquarium, and turned it into a magnificent tourist center and convienant parking lot for those visiting Niagara Falls. The building that was deserted and gave the appearance of a ghosttown was converted into a thriving Tourist Center signaling the rebirth of Niagara Falls NY.
